One piece of vintage wool blanket. Approx size 58 x 50 cm

I use vintage blanket to back almost all of the embroidery I do. I don't like to use a hoop so it gives the piece some stability and I also like the slightly quilted effect. Of course you could use your piece in whatever way you choose, for example wool is great to use for eco - dyeing. I have also embroidered directly onto blanket, I've included some examples in the listing.

Your piece will be neatly folded and finished with a crochet lace motif, a vintage button and a sprig of lavender.
