A Gentlework Workshop - Textile Tokens

When : Saturday 24th October 10.30 am - 4.30 pm

Where: Llangedwyn Memorial Hall,
Llangedwyn, SY10 9LD
(approximately 20 minutes from Oswestry)

Come and join me for a day of gentle, mindful stitching with like minded souls . You will leave refreshed and inspired with new friendships from a day of shared creativity.

On this workshop will will be making small textile tokens similar to the ones pictured above, using, nature finds, vintage paper, fabric and lace. There will be lots of examples of my work on display to inspire you.

All materials will be provided and you will be given your own small inspiration pack on arrival at the workshop. You may wish to bring additional materials of your own to personalise your pieces, but this is not essential.

Some basic sewing skills are required to participate in the workshop and pleas bring along your sewing kits (needles, scissors, thread etc.).

The workshop is a stones throw from my studio,, so you will have the opportunity to visit it and soak in a bit of the atmosphere of my creative haven.

I will have a few items available for sale and I am also inviting a friend who has vintage fabric for sale to pop in to see us so please bring some cash in case you wish to purchase something.

Tea/coffee/cakes provided, please bring a packed lunch or there is a cafe a short walk away

NB: A refund of payment for the class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student.
